NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh Calls for Emergency Session of Parliament

NDP Leader Jagmeet Singh has called for an emergency session of Parliament. He stated that a package should be passed to support workers in response to U.S. tariffs and that job opportunities should be created under the "Build Canadian Buy Canadian" plan. Additionally, he made a third demand for Parliament to rise above partisanship and show unity in opposing Trump's tariffs.

Singh also emphasized that there is no other way to deal with someone like Donald Trump, and that Canada must fight to win. He described Trump as a bully and argued that strict retaliatory action is necessary.
