Punjab Congress President Amarinder Singh Raja Warring has criticized the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government in Punjab over the worsening law and order situation. In a social media post, he referred to the grenade blast at the house of a policeman in the village of Raimal, near Dera Baba Nanak, and said that the state’s law and order situation is in a dire state.
Warring stated that grenade attacks are being carried out on the homes of those who protect the public, and questioned who would take responsibility for safeguarding ordinary citizens in such circumstances. He accused the government of consistently downplaying these attacks, offering excuses each time.
According to reports, last night in the village of Raimal in the Dera Baba Nanak constituency, armed assailants targeted the house of a policeman and detonated a grenade. This marks the 12th blast in a series of attacks on police stations in Punjab.
