Punjab Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr. Balbir Singh said that the person who takes the injured to the hospital for treatment will be awarded with a certificate and Rs. 2000.
They say that no matter where the person lives, the Punjab government will treat road accident victims equally.
The entire cost of treatment conducted within 48 hours will be paid by the government.
He said that a system is also being established by the Punjab government under which all the ambulances, including government and private, will be linked together like Ola/Uber so that people can get ambulance services in 15 minutes or less during emergencies.
