Mohali police has formed a special investigation team to investigate Kangana Ranaut's slap case

On the orders of Punjab Police DGP Gaurav Yadav, Mohali Police has formed a Special Investigation Team to investigate Kangana Ranaut's slap case. The SIT will examine the footage of the CCTV cameras installed at the airport and also question the persons present at the time of the incident.
On the other hand, farmers' organizations have supported Kulwinder Kaur, the CISF employee who slapped Kangana. State President of Bharatiya Kisan Union Ekta (Ugrahan) Joginder Singh Ugrahan said that action should be taken against Kangana Ranaut instead of Kulwinder Kaur.
They claimed that Kangana had deliberately provoked Kulwinder Kaur by calling her a Khalistani, after which Kulwinder Kaur had to take this step.
