The meeting held today in Chandigarh between Punjab's farmers' organizations and the central government ended inconclusively. Following the meeting, while returning to the Shambhu and Khanauri Morchas, Punjab Police unexpectedly detained farmer leaders Jagjit Singh Dallewal, Sarwan Singh Pandher, Abhimanyu Kohar, and other prominent leaders.
During this incident, farmer activists clashed with the police. Farmers suspect that the police may attempt to forcibly vacate the Shambhu and Khanauri borders.
