Shiromani Akali Dal leader Bikram Singh Majithia criticized Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann for prioritizing Delhi elections over state issues. Majithia highlighted that 40% of senior secondary schools in Punjab lack principals, questioning Mann’s claims of an education and health revolution.

The party also condemned the rising incidents of looting and shootings in Punjab. In a statement, the Akali Dal accused Mann’s government of failing to ensure public safety, stating that while youth are being killed daily, the government is focused on activities outside Punjab.
