AAP candidate Gurmeet Singh Hayer leads

The thrill is building up as the votes are counted in the Sangrur constituency. Gurmeet Singh Hayer from AAP is currently in the lead with 346811 votes.

Simranjit Singh Mann from SAD(A)(SSM) is in the second place, having secured 178558 votes. The final Lok Sabha election result of Sangrur constituency in Punjab is yet to come.

Hayer's supporters are celebrating his victory at his home.
