In response to the shooting outside his Mumbai home earlier this year, Bollywood icon Salman Khan has significantly upgraded the security at his residence in Galaxy Apartments, Bandra.
Sources report that the actor has implemented a series of high-end security measures, including the installation of bulletproof windows throughout his home. A state-of-the-art security system, featuring high-resolution CCTV cameras, has also been set up to monitor any suspicious activities around the building. Additionally, the balcony from which Salman often greets his fans has been reinforced with bulletproof glass for added protection.
Salman resides in a 1BHK flat on the ground floor of Galaxy Apartments, while his parents live on the floor above. This move comes after a disturbing incident on April 14, when two gunmen on a motorcycle fired four shots at Salman’s home before fleeing the scene. The actor has stated that he suspects gangster Lawrence Bishnoi was behind the attack, with the apparent intent to harm him and his family.
The enhanced security measures reflect the seriousness of the threat and the actor's commitment to protecting himself and his loved ones.
