Resham Kaur had been suffering from heart disease for an extended period and had recently undergone a stent procedure.
Resham Kaur, the wife of renowned Sufi singer and former BJP MP Hansraj Hans, has passed away at the age of 62. She breathed her last this afternoon at Tagore Hospital in Jalandhar, Punjab, after battling a long illness.
Resham Kaur had been suffering from heart disease for an extended period and had recently undergone a stent procedure. Her death has left the family and the community in mourning. Reports indicate that her last rites will be held on Thursday morning at Hansraj Hans' native village.
