Saif Ali Khan Discharged from Lilavati Hospital Following Assault

Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was discharged from Lilavati Hospital on Tuesday after being hospitalized for five days. He was attacked with a knife around 2:30 a.m. on the night of January 15. Saif suffered serious injuries to his neck and spine. Following the attack, he made his way to Lilavati Hospital by auto, where he underwent surgery and treatment.
The attacker has been identified as Shariful Islam, who was arrested by the police. The accused reportedly entered Saif's house through the bathroom window and fled from the same window after the attack. Mumbai Police arrested Shariful late on January 19, and he is currently on a five-day police remand.
