In the 1990s, he became a household name as the host of The Pritish Nandy Show on Doordarshan, where he engaged in thought-provoking conversations with celebrities from all walks of life, captivating viewers with his wit and insight.

As a producer, Pritish was behind some of the most memorable films of the early 2000s, including Sur, Kaante, Jhankaar Beats, Chameli, Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, and Pyaar Ke Side Effects, under the banner of Pritish Nandy Communications.
