For those unfamiliar with Bollywood history, the iconic role of Prem in the film "Maine Pyar Kiya," portrayed by Salman Khan, was initially proposed to Piyush Mishra.
Known for his portrayal of robust characters in films such as "Gulaal" and "Gangs of Wasseypur," actor and writer Piyush Mishra was the preferred choice of Sooraj Barjatya for the role. However, when Mishra declined the offer, the role eventually landed in the hands of Salman Khan, and the rest, as they say, is history.
