Actor Anupam Kher dismissed rumours about wife Kirron Kher, and has requested everyone to ‘not spread such negative news’.

Sharing a statement on the microblogging website, Anupam said that the actor-politician is "absolutely fine", and that she has received the second dose of her coronavirus vaccine on Friday. "There is a rumour going around about Kirron's health. It's all false. She is doing absolutely fine. In fact she got her second vaccination done for Covid this afternoon. I will request people not to spread such negative news. Thanks! Stay safe," Anupam wrote.

Anupam shared pictures of getting their second Covid jab on Instagram. This was Kirron's first public appearance since her cancer diagnosis.

Anupam had confirmed in April that she had been diagnosed with blood cancer and is undergoing treatment for it.
