In an exclusive interview with Connect FM Canada, renowned Punjabi film director Jagdeep Sidhu, known for his work on Jatt & Juliet 3 and Moh, offered intriguing insights into the Punjabi film Moh, which featured Sargun Mehta and Gitaz Bindrakhia. Sidhu revealed that Moh holds a special place in his heart, despite its underwhelming performance at the box office. He expressed a strong desire to remake the film in Hindi.
When discussing the Hindi adaptation, Sidhu shared that he envisions Bollywood star Taapsee Pannu stepping into Sargun Mehta's role. He also disclosed that Taapsee and celebrated Bollywood director Imtiaz Ali have significantly revised the film’s climax. According to Sidhu, after sharing the original Punjabi ending with both Taapsee and Imtiaz, their creative input led to vital changes, resulting in a dramatically different conclusion for the Hindi version.
