The much-awaited documentary about Indian rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh, titled Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous, has officially announced its streaming release date. It will be available to watch on OTT platforms starting December 20.
Directed by Mozez Singh, known for his work on Human, the documentary offers an intimate glimpse into the life of the iconic hip-hop artist. It unveils the real story of Hirdesh Singh, the man behind the stage name Honey Singh, tracing his meteoric rise to fame, the personal struggles he faced, and his inspiring comeback.
Produced by Guneet Monga Kapoor and Achin Jain under the banner of Sikhya Entertainment, the documentary delves deep into Honey Singh's journey. In a joint statement, Monga Kapoor and Jain shared, “Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous allows us to explore his journey in its most unfiltered form—his swift rise, the hurdles he overcame, and his resurgence as Hirdesh Singh. We were astonished by how little we knew about the person behind the public persona.”
