Diljit Vs Kangana
Punjabi singer-actor Diljit Dosanjh and Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut’s war of words on Twitter is the most recent and talked about controversies in both Pollywood and Bollywood.
It all began with Kangana Ranaut misidentifying an elderly Sikh woman who was a part of the farmers’ protest.
Her tweet regarding the same didn’t go down well with the artists of the Punjabi entertainment industry including Diljit Dosanjh.
Their heated arguments via tweets went viral on the Internet.
Mandy’s objectionable video
Punjabi actress Mandy Takhar’s false video with inappropriate content went viral on the internet with the entire Pollywood industry lambasting such a thing.
Mandy stood up against the cyberbullies and even lodged an FIR against them.
Allegations of infidelity on Dilpreet Dhillon
Punjabi singer Dilpreet Dhillon and his wife Amber Dhaliwal hit a rough patch in their relationship.
According to the media reports, Amber Dhaliwal accused Dilpreet Dhillon of infidelity and domestic violence.
She posted a video to put her story.
Thereafter, Dilpreet Dhillon also posted a video wherein he said all the accusations are false.
When Afsana Khan was sorry
This year Punjabi singer Afsana Khan too landed in a controversy.
The singer apparently performed the song ‘Jatt Dhakka Karda’ at a government school in Badal village, Muktsar district.
A clip of the same went viral on social media, and the singer was accused of performing a song that was not fit for school children.
An FIR was also filed against the singer and the school authorities.
Questioning Diljit’s intent
Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh too had his brush with controversy one time too many in 2020.
This one came along when netizens started questioning Diljit’s intent in supporting the farmers.
Tweets hinting at some political agenda also surfaced, but the singer gave a befitting reply to all those who questioned his intentions.
He clarified that he was tweeting for humanitarian reasons and not political.
