Following the tragic rape and murder of a female trainee doctor at Kolkata's R.G. Kar Medical College and Hospital, several Bollywood celebrities took to social media to voice their outrage and demand justice.

Kareena Kapoor Khan expressed her frustration on Instagram, stating, "Twelve years later, we’re still facing the same issues and protests. When will true change come?" Her comments were a reference to the infamous 2012 Delhi gang rape case, known as the Nirbhaya case.

Sara Ali Khan also shared her sentiments, simply posting, “Justice for women.”

Amitabh Bachchan's granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda, shared her thoughts on Instagram, expressing her deep concern over the recent horrific rape incident. She wrote, “We are witnessing yet another tragic case of rape. First and foremost, let us pray for the victim and her family. Women have been crucial to our country's growth and development. It's essential that workplaces, classrooms, and homes are safe and supportive environments for all. Both men and women must come together to challenge and change the mindsets and beliefs that perpetuate the objectification of women and view them as easy targets.”
