The Shiv Sena leader and son of the Maharashtra Chief Minister, Aditya Thackeray has finally broken his silence about involvement in the Sushant Singh Rajput death case and dismissed all reports and allegations stating that this is all dirty politics. Aditya Thackeray issued a statement, rubbishing various unconfirmed reports linking him to the late Bollywood actor, Sushant Singh Rajput. In his statement, Aditya took a jibe at the opposition, stating that the whole case has now taken a political turn. "Hence they started this dirty politics over Sushant Singh Rajput's case," he said in the statement. He slammed the personal remarks being made against him and the Thackeray family. He also went on to claim that he doesn't have any relation to this matter whatsoever.

While calling the actor's demise unfortunate and shocking, Aditya also came down heavily on those who are using this tragedy for personal as well as political gains. In the statement, Aditya said that, Cine industry is an important part of Mumbai and noted that a lot of people are dependent on it. He also added that although he knows a lot of Bollywood actors, it is not a crime to share a good bond with them.

Aditya Thackery concluded his statement saying that he will not get involved in this case and would not drag down the dignity of the state, his political party and his family.
