Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal, met Prime Minister Narendra Modi inside the Parliament on March 03.
Both leaders met for the first time after Delhi Assembly elections, and discussed the deadly violence of Northeast and coronavirus situation in Delhi.
After meeting, CM Kejriwal said, "It was a courtesy meeting with PM Modi.
After winning Delhi elections, I asked for his time and today, I got the chance to meet him. I asked for his help for the development of Delhi and he assured me that he will fully support us for development of Delhi.
We also discussed violence of Northeast Delhi and even discussed the rumours that spread on Sunday and how Delhi police played major role in stopping the rumours from spreading."
Both leaders also discussed coronavirus situation in Delhi where one positive case was confirmed on March 02.
Earlier, CM Kejriwal had invited PM Modi for his oath taking ceremony but the later couldn't make it for the event due to prior commitments.
