Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been hospitalized in Ahmedabad due to a heat stroke. He was in the city to attend the Indian Premier League (IPL) match between his Kolkata Knight Riders and Sunrisers Hyderabad on Tuesday.
According to sources cited by a news agency, "The actor was experiencing dehydration amid the high temperature of 45 degrees Celsius in Ahmedabad. He is currently under medical observation, although his condition is stable. Security around the hospital has been increased."
As the co-owner of the IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Shah Rukh Khan celebrated the team's victory on Tuesday night with a lap of honour at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
