Punjabi film industry has resumed shooting after the lockdown amid Covid. As per sources, actor-singer Gippy Grewal is all set to start shooting for his next film, Warning from July 30. Gippy’s Production house has divulged some details about the upcoming shoot, which will happen in Morinda, Punjab. Initially, Gippy had decided to make a web series on the subject, but now he has converted it into a full-length feature film. Interestingly, the first two episodes of Warning, as web-series, have received a good response from the audiences.
Earlier during this week, Gippy Grewal along with few other actors like Gurpreet Ghuggu, Ranjit Bawa and Rupinder Singh had approached the Punjab CM, Capt Amarinder Singh, requesting him to ease some of the restrictions to enable production houses to start shooting. Following this, the CM has asked all the district magistrates of various cities of Punjab to assist in film shooting. Gippy Grewal has been granted permission to shoot in Morinda with restrictions of keeping the number of crew below five people, ensuring social distancing with local people.
